Obesity & Weight Loss Programme

obesity & weight loss

The NHS define obesity as ‘a person who is carrying too much body fat for their height and sex.’ The preferred method for determining obesity within the medical profession is Body Mass Index (BMI), however this method of calculation does not allow for such variants as puberty and highly developed muscles.

Governmental research in 2008 found that within the adult population (over 16 years of age) nearly 25% were classified as obese, with 32% of women and 42% of men classified as overweight.

The same research also found that in children aged 2-15, one in 6 boys and one in seven girls were classified as obese, with one in seven children classified as overweight.

These figures have been steadily increasing year on year, showing that obesity is becoming a serious issue within the UK and also the rest of the world. Alarmingly a scientific report commissioned by the government (The Foresight Report) predicts that by the year 2025 obesity levels will have increased to such a level that nearly 50% of men and nearly 33% of women will be classified as obese.

Obesity & Weight Loss program is ideal for:

Programme

What to expect from Obesity & Weight Loss programme?

Our training Programme can start you on a path to feeling and looking better than ever before. If you have the will and the time we can work together to give you a better life.

We deal with obesity and weight loss head on. Learning what you are eating is of paramount importance, and features heavily within the training program. Many foods that are advertised as healthy may in fact be the cause of your problems.

Using Lez Wright’s Ten Approach (Training, Education, Nutrition), our training programmes will totally re-educate your mind, your body and your palate, by showing you what foods truly will provide you with the healthy body you deserve.

Many foods that are advertised as healthy may in fact be the cause of your health problems.

Another major misnomer is the way you engage in physical activity and it’s outcome. We get amazing results with a very short exercise routine (10-15 minutes daily) that most age groups and genders can undertake.

Many people who go to their GP’s get told to ‘eat better’ and ‘get some exercise’. What they don’t get told is how to do this, leaving them unable to solve the problem.

A: Beside medical conditions there is an increased likelihood that people who are obese may also suffer from some degree of psychological problems, for example low self esteem, stress, anxiety etc.

What you consume, what your body chemically produces and your psychological and emotional state are the fundamental reasons why obesity and body fat exsists.

Obesity can shorten the lifespan by about six to seven years. Common causes of High Blood Pressure as suggested by the NHS include: kidney disease, diabetes, narrowing of the arteries (large blood vessels) supplying the kidneys, hormonal conditions, such as Cushing’s syndrome (a condition where your body produces an excess of steroid hormones), conditions that affect the body’s tissue, such as lupus.

Q: What are obesity problems?

A: High blood pressure can be very dangerous and life threatening. It can cause Cancer, diabetes, heart disease, kidney disease heart attacks strokes and other illnesses.

A: The side effects of high blood pressure tablets and the combination of other drugs prescribed can cause as much problems as having high blood pressure such as diarrhoea, gout, Asthma symptoms, coughs, dizziness, facial flushing, swollen ankles, constipation, poor sleep, impotence and depression. It is now suggested and speculated that some drugs could actually cause cancer.

Q: How to control High Blood Pressure & maintain it?

A: If you have high blood pressure, avoid smoking cigarettes, processed foods or consuming products of a negative nature. This can only make your situation worse. One of the reasons why people cannot maintain normal levels of blood pressure is because they continue or return to the very same bad habits that produced high blood pressure in the first place.

Q: High Blood Pressure exercise program?

A:If you have high blood pressure, you should exercise daily. And work towards a vigorous training programme that you can enjoy. Weight training, Running, badminton, squash, martial arts, dance etc. If you have high blood pressure, training 2-3 times a week isn’t going to cut it. Everyday is the only way. You need to get a sweat on.

A: Diet is one of the major reasons why people have high blood pressure. The consumption of fatty & processed foods, processed drinks, drugs and alcohol over the years can produce such things as high blood pressure. Changing your diet is fundamental.

Q: High Blood Pressure weight loss?

A: Loosing body fat is fundamental to lowering high blood pressure. Having more weight than necessary on the body puts more stress on all major organs especially the heart. The more weight you have, the more blood you have, making the heart stress more than needed. However, thin people do get high blood pressure usually because of hardening or stiffening of the arteries (arteriosclerosis).

Q: High Blood Pressure Treatments?

A: Doctors, pharmaceutical drug companies, nurses, hospitals, clinics, blood pressure machines chemist etc, this is a multi billion pound/dollar industry and there are vested interests and incomes at stake in not creating any cures. There is simply no money in the cure. These organisations will not be the ones to deliver the cure when there are vast amounts of money to be made in the treatments.

Whilst there is an industry that depends and thrives on people being ill, there simply is no hope for a cure coming from that direction; however there are lots of treatments and drugs to be had. Treating blood pressure usually means doctors prescribing pharmaceutical drugs. Definition of treatment is: 1. the manner in which someone behaves towards or deals with someone or something.

Q: High Blood Pressure cure?

A: So is there a cure? Is there hope? Apparently, NOT!
